Sarah Harley is the head and hands behind Loving String. Since Spring 2020, Sarah has been single handedly designing and making colourful cotton yarn lampshades from her little home studio in West Dorset.

Sarah has an interior design and styling background and before starting Loving String and turning her hand to lampshade-making, she spent more than eight years working out of London on interior projects in homes, shops and hotels up and down the UK. 

Sarah maintains strong relationships with interior designers and supplies Loving String lampshades for projects worldwide.
